After my most recent post about the Dr. Girlfriend painting, I've gotten a lot of comments through Craftster, as well as through email and Flickr -- and I'm even making new friends (several people have added me and left nice messages via Flickr) and it's such a nice feeling! I'm glad that people are inspired to try something new, something silly and just go wild with it -- which is what Craftster is all about!
I've been such a looky-loo over at Craftster and I realize that I haven't contributed all that many posts -- something I really should fix (because everyone wants to hear from me, right?).
Eventually, I'll get around to more tutorial type stuff, instead of just showing off what I've made. But until then, here are some topics that I created on Craftster that you might be interested in:
Months later, I am still really happy with this Hitchhiking Ghost dot painting. These 3 randy spooks followed someone else home, but it's a design that I am keen to make again (as soon as I have the time!).

This painting of The Tick was sold as part of an eBay charity auction a couple of months back, but I wanted to share it with you all anyway. I love how the orange came out. I'm only sorry that I didn't get a better picture!

The classic battle rages on within Gotham City's boundary lines. Batman is always at-the-ready with his sidekick, Robin, the Boy Wonder. Waiting for the next villian to strike. But who will it be this time?
The Joker? The Riddler? Harley Quinn? Two-Face? Catwoman?

I just recently finished up this Dr. Girlfriend dot painting as a commission piece for Dan. It was super fun to make and I am certainly inspired to paint Dr. G again! Who doesn't love Venture Brothers fan art?!
Where are my Devo-tees at? This fearsome fivesome has been carefully replicated in wooden peg-people form with the classic yellow jumpsuit and red hat. You'll know Mark Mothersbaugh by his glasses. The rest, well it's up to you to pick a favorite.
Whip it!

This was my first time painting Ariel and it came to me by special request. She was a lot of fun to make and she's now swimming her way to her new home! Thank you Tarra for your request!
